Add your name to Porty campaign

FURTHER to the letter "We must chip in to save the golf course" (July 28), it is good to see that those people who live beyond Portobello are prepared to voice their support for the retention of such an important community facility.

The need for further loss of green space in the city is something that all of us should question. The loss of this particular space to several hundred houses is something we all need to challenge.

Hundreds of people have already signed the petition against the loss of Portobello Park.
